By the Sea.
Oceans, rivers, lakes simply fascinate me.
Sitting at the
Beach Resort, a cup of strong coffee and
some snacks. I could not take my eyes
off the breathtaking sight. The white sand was blowing with the wind, the
climate was hot and humid.
The sea was at its best with High tide. The water waves splashing the
shore and running away back into the sea, spraying the beach with tiny salty
droplets. The beauty of the clean clear
white foamy water waves transfixed me.
The sky was
blue and clear, the sea at its greenish hue looked like crystal glass
reflecting the sunlight, sparkling like a million diamonds on water. The height of the sky, the depth of the sea
unfathomable and eternal, yet blending into each other at the horizon. The Sun going down from its height into the
depth of the depth of the water to rise again tomorrow. I was in complete awe. Oh! How beautiful, so very
perfect, how eternal!
When the vastness
of the sea, of the sky gets absorbed into the self, we can feel nature at its
infinite best. The spirit lifts you up to enjoy the beauty of nature. The
spirit that unites you with the cosmos. It touches you at your deepest core and
makes you feel so complete, so one with God. So much into it and so much of it.
It brings a
thought to my mind. How can we ever think of destroying
nature or disturbing it. That which gives us the ground below and the sky
above. No matter wha t man achieves, he cannot be separated from Nature.
Because nature is always the sole survivor in all its different forms. It can
only give you peace, tranquility, eternal bliss, because that is what your true
self is.
The people on the
beach were swimming, sunbathing, children were playing and shouting with joy.
As if the human world was uniting with nature, as if they were not being
satisfied with the moments of joy, wanting more and more of it.
Sitting on the
beach front, I wanted to reach out and touch the beautiful, sparkling waves, to feel them on my skin, to be a part of it, to
dive in and out with them and to just be the Sea. I know, no words can describe
it, no pages can be filled with that feeling, for it has to experienced, to be
lost in it, to be one with it.
I was in complete
wonder of nature, of the Sea, the sky, the vastness, the tranquility, the
space. Aha!! I cannot express any more.
The feeling is of just plain ECSTASY.
It was at the
Canacona Beach, Goa.
