The Human Mind.

The Human Mind
The mind becomes confused, corroded when there are no clear thoughts. One thought over the other keep on attacking the mind. There is a total chaos going on and we feel lost, frustrated, uncertain. Not knowing what to do. These type of flooding, overpowering thoughts are disastrous. They deflect the serenity, the calmness that a human being always aspires for. These thoughts if not controlled become become destructing, negative thoughts and actions that can only harm the self and others.
It  is but a common feature of the human mind. Nothing extraordinary of abnormal about it. What is necessary is the need to control these overpowering thoughts that take charge of your mind and body, of your actions and reactions, of your behavior and perception.  Human beings’ greatest test is to control this dominant flow of thoughts.

And how do we do it?
There are innumerable ways taught in every faith, every   religion, in the different sources of knowledge relating to human mind and psychology.  Meditation, concentration, recitation of mantras, focusing on light, reading scriptures, listening to music, solitude, exercise, walking in isolation, etc. etc.
The ways are many but the aim, the intention is only one.  And that is to curb the  flow of dominant thoughts. It sounds so simple, and believe me it is simple. Provided we intend it, provided we work towards achieving that goal of serenity and calmness.

And that we do, everyone does,  at one or the other point of time, in this or other birth, as is destined for the evolution of his soul. This happens in stages of evolution.  When the right time comes, the mind begins to get its signals. The mind begins to yearn for an outlet from the overactive, confused state. It begins to search for the ways to find peace, happiness, freedom. When this happens  we need to understand that we need to aspire for more, search more into the self.  Because material comforts then become of less value and more of a burden. The feeling of a void, of emptiness amongst a prosperous, abundant material world is a sign for us to know that we are on the verge of a transformation, of evolution.  The only requirement the is to know the self.  The questions most interesting then are,  Who am I? What am I ? Where have I come form?  Where do I go ?  What is the reason of my  presence in this world?
These questions become the milestones of your journey towards peace and eternity.
